I occasionally like to write stories about my experiences. These stories put life into perspective for me and, I hope, provide some kind of value for the reader.
I’m a software engineer by profession but sports car racing is one of my passions. I recently obtained a competition license and race my 1987 BMW on road circuits in the Eastern US.
Hi Scott. Wow. For some reason, your message wasn’t forwarded to my personal email account. So I’m just reading it today.
For now, I’m afraid the domain name isn’t available. Sorry. 🙂 To tell you the truth, I couldn’t believe that it was available to me; I tried some years ago and it was already reserved.
Thanks very much for the family reference. My father, James, came from a broken family in Alabama (I grew up in Minnesota) and we’ve never been able to piece it all back together. Dad was named after his father, who apparently left the family under mysterious circumstances in the early 1930’s. From there, life took Dad from Alabama to Tennessee to Wisconsin and then to Minnesota after World War II. Long story.
Anyway, it seems our name is pretty common in the South. I’ve never visited that area but I’d like to some day.
I see your email address is a school in NC. Are you originally from that area?
Cheers! –Scott
